New Version 2 of Accent Composer has now been released. New features include Unicode support and text snippits. Read more about it here.

Accent Composer is a keyboard utility that simplifies the process of typing accented characters and other special symbols into Windows programs. It lets you enter any character, in any program, with an easy-to-remember sequence of keystrokes.

No more copying and pasting from the Character Map application or Word’s Insert Symbols option. No more remembering codes like Alt-0193.

No CharMap

You can also set it up to produce text snippets, sections of text of any length, with similar keystroke sequences. For example, you can insert your entire address into a document with just three keystrokes.

Accent Composer works in any program, not only Word or other word processors, but also e-mails, web pages, spreadsheets, databases and appointment diaries. It is ideal for touch typists and anyone regularly needing to use symbols and accented characters.
